An Issue of Censorship!!

If the Word "nigger" is censored or filtered from all search engines, what word or set of words is to be next on the list. The information super highway is color blind, however the internet playing field is treacherous and transparent. Freedom of speech is a right of expression and must be protected at all cost. Here is an opinion on Censorship!

read, read, read, read! a must read!...

Do you believe this? I put nigger in Yahoo and you would not believe the stuff that came up. Dear Brothers/Sisters, A friend of mine from Howard discovered that using the keyword "nigger" links you to sites that deal with "Kwanzaa" and "Hip-Hop Music;" please pass this letter on. I went on the internet and checked it out for myself. Anyone who thinks it's (RACISM) fading, gone or non-existent, is absolutely crazy. Pass this on, 'cause this is ridiculous! Something needs to go to YAHOO, WEBCRAWLER, LYCOS, EXCITE, and all those other search engines! I don't know if you all are aware, but if you type in the racial slur nigger in any of the search engines on the Internet, very distrubing information is generated. There are between 4,000 and 5,000 sites (depending on the search engine you choose) related to the word nigger.

The sites bear titles such as: KILL THE NIGGERS, KILLING ALL THE NIGGERS WOULD STINK UP THE PLACE, etc. Even more disturbing are the related topics to the word nigger. Using the search engines Infoseek and CNET, the related topics are Kwanzaa and Rap and Hip-Hop Music. It is disgusting that such a derrogatory word would yield an African American holiday and a form of music as related topics. I am enlisting the support of everyone who reads this message. Contact your local television and radio stations, your Intenet service provider, and your browser to express your outrage at this slap in the face. Thank you in advance for your support. Please pass this message on to all of your friends. Together, we can make a difference. May God continue to bless you!
