Today Africa is a unique and untapped market, full of new business opportunities. There are 52 countries in Africa and 51 of the 52 countries are independent. South Africa is the richest nation on the African continent. It is still evolving after the dissolution of Apartheid. South Africa offers exciting growth potential. The main field of investment are mining, industrial products, physical infrastructure, chemicals, metals, electronics, automobile industry, textiles and paper.

There are 11 official languages: Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Southern Satho, Swati, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa and Zulu. South Africa has a sophisticated telecommunications network. International dialing and full telex, telefax, and electronic mail facilities are widely used and available. Phone cards and cellular phones are also available. The west coast of South Africa borders the South Atlantic Ocean, while the eastern coastline runs along the Indian ocean. To the north, South Africa borders Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and in the north-east Mozambique and Swaziland.

Nigeria has the second largest economy on the continent and many oil refineries There are approximately 115 million blacks in Nigeria, the largest concentration of blacks in Africa. Nearly half of Africa's countries are moving at varying speeds toward political and economic liberation. The Congo River stretches across five countries, but centers on Zaire. The Congo basin is one of the last great chunks of lightly explored land. Kenya, which is located along the continent's east coast, has a population of 26 million and is growing at a considerable rate of 3% annually. There are almost 740 million blacks in Africa now, and the United Nations predicts
that there will be nearly 1.5 billion by 2025.
